Description
Daniel Arsham’s ‘Eroded Surfboard’ is a unique and captivating sculpture that showcases the artist’s innovative approach to art. This limited edition piece, created in collaboration with Haydenshapes, is a functional surfboard featuring Arsham’s signature “eroded” and “crystallized” design with quartz and selenite details. Made from traditional surf foam, resin, and fiberglass, the surfboard is a blend of traditional construction and experimental methods. The result is a typical shortboard with typical weight and shape, featuring hollow eroded sections within the board under a polished and transparent fiberglass shell (windows). Each Eroded Surfboard comes in a box with a wall hook, Haydenshapes x Arsham fins, handling gloves, and a holographic label certifying the edition number and authenticity of the board.
